Atlantic Fiberglass Products (PTY) Ltd started operating on 1 May 2014, mainly to manufacture fiberglass roof units for an International Air Movement Company for fan installations. We are supplying their African markets and also exporting to the United Kingdom.
Since then, we also manufactured and made moulds for racing car parts on an ad hoc basis and various other products on request.
Our creative desire led to the birth of MARDEOU Designs, where we design and manufacture upmarket, handcrafted fibreglass products for the leisure, landscaping, decor, and agricultural markets. We started with an exciting, modern range of upmarket garden pots/planters, water tanks, and furniture.

Our team has over 10 years experience designing, building and supplying high-quality fibreglass products and have cultivated all the skills necessary to see our entire product lifecycle through from start to finish. This way we are able to guarantee the highest quality and customer satisfaction.
Our in-house engineer is able to design 3D models for any new or custom products before we even start creating moulds. We are also skilled at custom paint jobs, textured finishes and repairing any damage that may occur.
We started mardeou first-and-foremost to beautify the world we live in with upmarket durable products. Our vision is to become the go to supplier of top quality products for architects, landscape architects, designers, landscapers and avid gardeners.Â

Since we design and build all mardeou products from scratch, we’re able to provide a lot of custom services.

We apply a special boat coat over our silica infused gel coat as a norm. Alternatively we apply a 2K automotive paint, which provides a much wider array of colour options, thus any colour you want can be matched. Provide us with the Pantone code or RAL code or a physical sample.
We can also experiment with different colour combinations like our bronze colour look, or coloured speckles. Please reach out if you have an idea in mind.
As a standard, our pots come with a smooth finish, but we are also able to give it a speckled texture that resembles clay, rock, or concrete.

The advantage of fiberglass, besides being more robust, is that it can be repaired. Unlike concrete, fibre cement or terracotta pots, we are able to repair and restore any damaged pots manufactured by us.

Our inhouse engineer can provide customers with 3D drawings, this also means that we can provide customers with an estimated quote.
